My posts have slowed way down for two reasons. First, the memory stick drive on my computer broke so now I have to hook the camera up to download pictures. Second, because being private is so boring it's just not as fun to blog anymore. But the last day of school deserves a post.
Alexandria had a fabulous year. She got straight A's. She's reading books that I read in 6th grade and this year she was only in 1st grade. She knows her times tables. She has learned so much so fast! She really is one smart cookie.
The boys had a great year in pre-school. I never was a big fan of pre-school. My thought was I just always wanted my children home with me. They'll grow up and leave soon enough so why rush it? But my boys needed it and this teacher is marvelous. In three weeks with her AJ went from having a few issues to being ahead of his age. DJ is already naming all his phonograms and getting close to reading. Their favorite part of school was show and tell. I can't believe they actually got up and talked in front of people, but they did. They grew a lot this year.
We were going to have a school's out party with a movie and ice cream. But it rained and the weather was so fun we had to play outside instead. We went out and jumped on the trampoline in the rain and got soaking wet then came in and had hot chocolate because it was 68 degrees outside and that can be cold in AZ.

I can't believe you actually had hot chocolate in AZ on the 22nd of May. That is one for the record books!!
What a fun party! I knew your boys had made tons of progress, but I didn't realize AJ was ahead for his age after just 3 weeks! That's amazing.
That is so funny! My kids were wanting hot chocolate the other day. I didn't break it out, but maybe we could've after the rain. I can't believe school is out either!
