It all started at the end of last year when AJ got a new sunbeam teacher. I thought that it was cute how much he liked her and it was great that he would go to primary without me having to drag him there. We took her cookies for Christmas and he was so excited to go to her house. The year ended and he got a new teacher but he kept talking about his sunbeam teacher. One day in February he got an idea, "Can we take Sis. Cooper strawberries?"
"You want to take her strawberries? Why?" I asked.
"I just want to take her some strawberries. I think she would like them and chocolate too. Can we take her strawberries and chocolate?"
WHOA!! Strawberries and chocolate? He's 4! Not only that Sis. Cooper could be his grandma, although she does look much younger than her age. He was relentless, begging everyday, "Please, Mom, can we take her some strawberries and chocolate?" Finally, while at the market one day we got a carton of strawberries for Sis. Cooper. He was so excited to take them to her. So I started to notice more when AJ sees Sis. Cooper at church. All his attention is directed only to her. His eyes light up and he gets a goofy grin. Then he talks to her and smiles and smiles . . . and smiles . . .he's twitterpated I tell you, down right twitterpated.
I think Sis. Cooper's blond hair might have something to do with it because any little blond girl that AJ knows he'll try to charm. DJ can see the trouble coming. Whenever AJ tries to talk to a cute blond DJ will bury his face in his hand and shake his head. It really is cute now but watch out blondies in about 15 years. This boy will melt your heart and you might be the ones that end up twitterpated.
