Angels or Demons

Sometimes,
I can't tell if these little guys are demons with fire coming out of their heads or angels with halos.

Still trying to figure it out.

Pops

Papi, sometimes called Pops, brings fun into their lives.
They need their Pops.
Here's my proof.

Why can't he stay here?
Mom just isn't as much fun.

Summer Vacation

I Love Utah!!
It energizes me.
As soon as we crossed the border I had the windows down, radio turned up and the cool breeze flying through our hair.
Utah relaxes me.
I even went out in the sun without sunscreen while we were there.
And got a tan! GASP!
We had such a cool summer vacation and fun family reunion at Bryce Canyon.

Excited because they roped Papi and got him down.
He's 4 weeks out of back surgery so it wasn't too hard of a job.

AJ in a three legged race with his 2nd cousin once removed, Amelia.
I don't even know any of my second cousins once removed.
More cousin races, first cousins, second cousins, maybe some removeds in there.
It gets a little confusing so we'll just call them all family.

The youngest ones to get dunked were my boys.  But they wanted to do it.

That was it for the family reunion.
It was so fun!
I feel bad for you if you're not a Davis and couldn't go to this reunion.
They're a nice bunch though.  I'm sure they'll adopt you in if you laugh enough.
On to the BYU pics because BYU is cool.
(And I'm secretly brainwashing my kids into wanting to go to BYU.
I think it's working.
AJ loved the baseball field.
Alexandria loved the creamery.
And they all loved the bookstore because I let them buy almost anything they wanted.)

 Yes, that's a J-dawg.

We've been married 12 years and have never gone back to Manti where this matrimony began.
So we took a little detour on our way home.

Not the best framed picture, I know.
I blame the stuffed cougar that was holding the camera.

Utah.
 I will miss you.

4th of July

Finally, we were able to spend a 4th of July here in the U.S.A.!
I think this is one of my kids' favorite holidays.
This year was no exception.
We were super happy when we found out at the last minute that Uncle Adam and his family would be here from Las Vegas.
They definitely added to the festivities.

 AJ's American dance
Yes, he did throw his dog into the pool.
Flying dog!! Don't worry they kissed and made up after.

Wonderful day! Love this country!
Happy Independence Day!
