Utah Travels

First stop in our Utah adventures this year, Cascade Springs. Beautiful views, beautiful trickling springs, beautiful surroundings.

On the way down I saw my dream place to live. Hello Heber Valley! My mom lived here until she was seven. Lucky little girl.

Continuing on to Provo to stop at the BYU bookstore, part of convincing my kids that they want to go there, and dinner at Alexandria's favorite, Chuck-A-Rama.

Cooler weather

On our way to Utah! Stella did great, most of the way. The kids took turns playing with her and keeping her entertained.

Of course we had to stop at our favorite hot dog place for dinner. I don't eat hot dogs but I do eat J Dawgs. We even ate outside! Welcome to cooler temps.

After we got to Park City, Stella was finally able to have her banana dinner in the sink since we are lacking a high chair.

We are excited to be where it's cool.

DJ and Stella

Know what DJ's favorite way to take care of Stella is?
I'll give you a clue.

Video games!  I've heard it will make her a great gamer.

Signs

Remember playing the game when you were little where you look for the differences in two pictures?

Lets play that game again.
See if you can see what's different in these two pictures.

Did you find it?
I'l give you a few more seconds.

Now you've got it, right?

It's the ceramic circle with Mikey's hand and foot prints.
Did you see it?
In the top picture it's facing forwards and in the bottom picture it's turned to the side.
Here's the crazy part.
It turns itself backwards!

I dust and face it forward and a few days later I'll walk in and it's turned around.
I know no one is touching it because I'm the only one who can reach it.

Remember how Mikey's heart was being pushed against his back?
His inside thoracic cavity was kind of backwards.
I think it's Mikey turning it backwards.
He's leaving us signs to let us know he's still with us.
Normally, when something keeps getting out of place it's annoying.
But seeing this turned around makes me smile every time.

Happy 4th!

Our 4th started almost a week early with Mesa City's celebration.  They had tanks, police motorcycles, birds, water slides and, of course, fireworks.

Then, early morning on July 4th we had a neighborhood parade.  Grandpa had to go help Isabel get out of the house.  Did I mention it was super early?

After we joined up with the cousins at Grandma's for our annual Snell Family 4th of July waffle breakfast and pool party.

We love July 4th!

Playtime

I love how the big kids play with their little sister. It's beautiful to see how much they lover her and want to take care of her.
