The Story of a Pacifier

I wanted to show you a perfect picture of my children all responsibly doing their homework at the table when I got home.
Really, it happened.
It was almost too good to be true.
I swear they heard the garage door opening and immediately left the chaos that they were in for a seat in front of their homework.
However it happened, it was awesome to walk in the door to a quiet house and children all doing what they were supposed to be doing.
I wanted to document it in a photo but my dumb phone battery has no life.
So I'm documenting it in writing.
And instead you get a photo essay on the
Story of a Pacifier.
Enjoy!!

The End!

Weight Gain

Normally those two words would be a bad thing,
but not in Stella's world.
We want lots of weight gain.

It was slow going but she finally hit 9 lbs this month!
It was an exciting day at the doctor's office.
I'm hoping she'll be 10 lbs by her 4 month visit.
Although, I do admit as long as she's healthy I'm kind of loving this tiny stuff.

Saturday

It's Saturday and we were looking for something to do. What's more entertaining than fake glasses and mustaches?  But seriously, I remember going to the mall and people watching, seeing the boy with a mohawk, the girl with 15 earrings in one ear, or the cute old couple that still held hands. Now I'm so wrapped up in my motherly world watching 5 shorties in 5 different places that I don't notice a soul. Sometimes I wonder what we must look like walking in crowded places and if any one notices us. I hope if they do they see a smiling mom without a mustache having an awesome time with her kids.

A Challenge

Making sure baby girl is gaining weight is keeping mommy extremely busy. I've hardly been able to blog. So in an effort to keep our family's journaling current (and keep Papi up to date now that he's gone), I am challenging myself to a post a day for 30 days. It's not going to be easy but I've armed my phone with new ammunition to take on the endeavor. Today's memory is Krispy Kreme and report cards, a donut for every A. With four smarties we make a killing. It's awesome! Krispy Kreme is awesome!

Bath Time

I love this tiny girl.
We still bath her in the sink.
She loves it but only if I hold her on her tummy.
When she's on her back she screams.

I don't remember how I figured it out.
It must have been one of those mommy inspiration moments.
I just love that she wraps her hands around mine.
Not sure how we're going to do it when she's too big for the sink.
Good thing she's still under ten pounds.

April Fools!

Where has April disappeared to?
It's the end of the month and I have all of April still to post, starting with April 1, otherwise known as
APRIL FOOLS!!

It was late. I was tired.
As I walked sleepily into my room I was met with a toilet papering job to beat all other jobs.
My kids thought it would be funny to toilet paper our room
and even left us with a nice little tp star on our bed.

My sleepiness immediately disappeared and I began to think of a comeback.

I got all of them. It was awesome.
Teach them to mess with this momma.
Although I'm pretty sure I'll be in for it next year.

'Tis the Season

For baseball.
I feel about like AJ in this picture about the game normally.

But I have to admit watching your boys loving to play is pretty fun.
It's especially fun when they have a hot coach that you can watch as well.
I'm loving Papi as their coach.  I know they are too.
And American baseball will never be the same once this little girl shows them how to have cheerleaders at the games.
