One of my favorite things to do with my kids around Christmas time is to drive around and look at everyone's Christmas lights. We missed doing it this year because we were in Mexico for most of December. But one night after Christmas we were driving around and about to come home but they wanted to see more lights. We live close to the temple so we drove there and saw more lights. I was kind of nervous about keeping them all by me but there weren't very many people, I guess because Christmas was over, and my kids are awesome! Yes, I know I'm going to regret saying it because next time they'll be all over the place, but I'm by myself with them 9 months of the year and we can travel together, we go places, we do things and for the most part they stay by me and we do okay. I never really feel like we can't do something because Papi's not around. (And for those rare occasions when I do need someone else it's good to know we've got family here.) I don't think I could do the things we do or go the places that we go with any other kids. I know He knows what he's doing when He sends you those precious, new spirits. I'm so blessed to have my children. I love them!

We LOVE the Temple Lights! We usually drive around to see house lights on Christmas Eve, but we were all too tired & our tummies were full of yummy food, so we didn't do it this year.
